Ruby Ulloa Named NABIP Florida President-Elect

June 30, 2026

Effective July 1, 2026, Ruby Ulloa will be appointed as President-Elect for the Florida Chapter of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP).

With over 20 years in the benefits industry, Ruby has built her career around helping brokers, employers, and local communities better understand and navigate health insurance and employee benefits. She is passionate about expanding access to insurance and benefits education and developed Spanish language Continuing Education (CE) courses for NABIP, helping to reach a more diverse and growing audience.

“I am committed to making healthcare more affordable, accessible, and transparent through education, bridging cultural gaps, and advocating for healthcare policy. It is also my mission to bring visibility to the vital role of brokers, including fair compensation for the work they do,” explains Ruby Ulloa, Business Development Specialist.

Ruby is also the current Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Manager for NABIP National, a member of the NABIP Foundation Board, and a founding member of NABIP’s Coalition for Inclusion in Benefits and Insurance (CIBI), which serves to ensure brokers have the resources, education, and tools needed to effectively assist underserved communities where English is a second language. Additionally, she serves as the current Legislative Chair of the Miami Chapter and is the Immediate Past President. She has also previously served as NABIP Florida Secretary and Treasurer, and as a member of the Region 5 Professional Development Council.
